A
brief glance at 2008
A brand new year is upon us, and in spite of all the gloomy predictions from economists, and politicians, God’s goodness and amazing love, provision and blessing never change! On New Year’s Eve, Kathy and I were blessed to lead worship at Solid Rock Ministries, the church we attend here in Kona, as part of our stepping into the new year. During prayer just before our time of celebration, the Holy Spirit spoke to several and reminded them of His promise to “RESTORE” all things to those who put their faith in Jesus’s perfect and complete work at Calvary. The time of worship that evening was very special for us, as we entered the new year in worship and celebration with our family in God.
Just want to give you a brief note of things on Kathy’s and my heart for the coming year:
1) We are targeting completion of our “501(c)3 Tax Status” with the IRS for Alabaster Ministries. Although we are able now to receipt people for donations, we are still in “processing” mode for full recognized status......thanks so much for your prayers in this. Check out the “Alabaster” page for the latest project information.
2) With the CD, “RESTORE” now available pretty much all over the world , we have only the U.S. to cover in terms of getting it in broad distribution. Although the website has been a good means of informing people about the recording, many still are not aware that it is available. We are confident God has just the right means for getting the word out, and we will be actively walking in His amazing wisdom for this. Through January, we will continue to offer the CD “I Will Not Be Afraid” at no charge with the purchase of “RESTORE”. It is our desire to lift up the standard of God’s love and grace against the spirit of fear that has been unleashed on the whole world, and particularly in the U.S.
3) Kathy is making steps forward with her photography with an updated website and some new animated slide shows that you can see on this website. The joining of music and photography is a powerful communication tool! Our travels take us far and wide, and she’s been able to take some incredible photos around the world. When we’re home she is still is able to work with clients in Hawaii for weddings, portraits and events. Check out some of her photos at

4)We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our break over the holidays. In February we’ll get the suitcases out of storage and head out again to the nations! Check out our itinerary page for details of the upcoming months.
God bless you as you step into 2009!!! We have in Jesus Christ an eternal and abundant hope that does not fade with challenge, but in fact gets brighter!! May this year be your brightest, most effective, and most fulfilling of all, as you focus on the King of Kings!!
